Working out in any capacity is important in order to maintain a healthy lifestyle however, most gyms today are either tacky chains in strip malls or large impersonal health clubs. The Iron Pit is a one of one, no nonsense gym in Bloomington, Indiana, where anyone is welcome to come lift weights. Since this campaign focuses on the image of addiction which is conventionally seen as bad, Iron Pit Gym will partner with rehab and homeless shelters to try to make the world a better place. Working through a drug addiction is one of the hardest things in the world so Iron Pit would like to reward those putting in the effort. If you are checked into a rehab program, or go to AA, or any program similar to that, all you have to do is have whoever is in charge give the gym your name and they will be sent a free membership card for you to pick up. You will get to keep this card as long as you are sober (like sobriety tokens) and will get upgraded with a new card that coincides with each milestone token of being sober. At its base, you will have access to the weight room and showers but as your journey continues, you will earn free supplements, sauna access, and free physical therapy.
